It took 20 holes to determine the winner of the Monday League at Spring Lake Golf Course, on Monday, September 5.  The team of John Berry and Larry Decker, winners of the 1:00 league, defeated the team of Frank Durand and Louis Mershbrock, winners of the 4:00 league, on the second hole of a sudden death play off. The league tournament was also held and here are the winners and their net scores.

Jim Butler shot a one under par 71, to win the 2011, Ft. Madison City Tournament on Sunday, August 21, at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course. Francis Jordan won the 50-59 age group, Roger Coppage took the 60 and over group and Rhonda Hanson won the women’s division. Players golfed 18 holes at Spring Lake Golf Course on Saturday and 18 holes at Sheaffers on Sunday.  Here are the rest of the results.

Jim Butler shot a 6 under par, 66, to lead the Open Division of the Ft. Madison City Tournament , held Saturday, August 20, at Spring Lake Golf Course. Francis Jordan and Scott Nickel both shot 72, to share the lead in the 50-59 age group and Roger Coppage and Tom Tincher are tied at the top of the 60 and over division with 75. Senior Tournament results at Sheaffer M.G.C.

Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course held their annual Senior tournament on Wednesday, August 10. Jim Butler shot a one under par 71 to win the 50-59 age group. Bob Dennis edged Dave Dorn in a 3-hole playoff to win the 60-69 division and Tom Tincher shot a 78 to win the 70 and over group. Here are the rest of the winners.
