Spring Lake Golf Course, in Ft. Madison held a 4 person, 8″ cup, tournament on Saturday, July 17. The team of Jay Griswold, Lisa Hope, Darrell Wolfe and Jo Beavers, shot a 22 under par, 50, to take first place. 22 teams participated in the event and here are the winners.

Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course, in Ft. Madison, hosted the annual Southeastern Community College Alumni Association golf outing on Friday, July 16. Thirty-six, 4 person teams, participated in the event. Proceeds go to SCC scholarships and to Distinguished Alumni Awards. Here are the results.

The South East Amateur Golf Tournament was held this weekend, at the Burlington Golf Club, Saturday, and Spirit Hollow Golf Course, on Sunday. Scott Briggs, from Burlington, won the Open division by one stroke over Marc Heyland, from Ft. Madison. Jim Butler, from Ft. Madison, won the Senior division by 14 strokes, shooting a 68 in the final round. Dan Dalziel and Bill Corrick finished tied for second. 72 golfers participated in the tournament and here are the results.

Green Acres Golf Course, in Donnellson, held a 4 women best shot tournament, Tuesday, July 13. Eight teams participated in the event and here are the winners.
